Overview
LinkedIn Learning with Lynda.com content is a learning platform that offers an online library of high-quality video courses for helping improve your creative and professional skills. The entire online library is available to current KU faculty, staff, and students through KU’s Talent Development system at mytalent.ku.edu and Canvas.
With LinkedIn Learning, you can learn at your own pace and access course content anytime from your KU workstation or your personal computer. Additionally, you can choose to receive personalized course recommendations based on your interests, job title, skills and goals.
Access
Staff
- Browse to mytalent.ku.edu.
- Log in using your KU online ID and password.
- Scroll to the Learning section and select the Learning tile.
- Enter a search term for the type of content or software you're looking for.
Faculty
For professional development use
- Browse to mytalent.ku.edu.
- Log in using your KU online ID and password.
- Scroll to the Learning section and select the Learning tile.
- Enter a search term for the type of content or software you're looking for.
For use in classes through Canvas
LinkedIn Learning content can be added directly to Canvas courses for students. For instructions on how to add content please see this Canvas help page.
Students
For use in classes through Canvas
Your instructors may choose to add LinkedIn Learning content directly to your Canvas courses. For detailed instructions on how to use content, please see this Canvas help page.
For personal use
You can view content on your own at any time outside of Canvas by:
- Browse to linkedinlearning.com
- Select Sign In.
- Enter your KU email address.
- Choose University of Kansas (Students).
- Enter your KU Online ID and password at the KU Single Sign-on Page if prompted.
