Adobe Creative Cloud
Overview
KU has a licensing agreement with Adobe that provides Adobe Creative Cloud for faculty and staff at KU. You can access Adobe Creative Cloud on your KU-owned workstation and at home using your KU Online ID and password.
Under the KU licensing agreement with Adobe, you can install Creative Cloud on a maximum of two devices. This could include one KU owned workstation and one personal device.
We have workshops and provide desk-side support for the following apps:
- Acrobat
- Illustrator
- InDesign
- Photoshop
- Rush
- Adobe Express (formerly Spark)
Access
Faculty and Staff
Adobe Creative Cloud is available to faculty and staff at no cost in all centrally-managed public computer labs. Faculty and Staff can also access Adobe Creative Cloud on their KU-owned workstation and at home using their KU Online ID and password.
Opt-in for First-time Users
Employees accessing Adobe for the first time under the KU license must complete a one-time opt-in to the Adobe license by going to myidentity.ku.edu and select view licensing.

Under the KU licensing agreement with Adobe, faculty and staff can install Creative Cloud on a maximum of two devices.
Students
Adobe Creative Cloud is available to students at no cost in all centrally-managed public computer labs.
Students can purchase an Adobe Creative Cloud annual subscription at considerable discount off educational pricing through the KU Bookstore Tech Shop.
Free Access for Students: Opt-in
Students can opt-in to KU student licensing for select Adobe apps by going to myidentity.ku.edu. This option will give students free access to the following apps:
- Adobe Express (web and mobile)
- Premiere Rush (desktop and mobile)
- Photoshop Express (mobile)
- Spark Video (mobile)
- Spark Page (mobile)
This comes with premium templates and design assets.
* There is already a free version of Adobe Express online, but it has limited templates, and fewer features. We recommend using the premium version by opting-in at myidentity.ku.edu.
Personal Devices
Faculty and Staff can access Adobe Creative Cloud for free on their KU-owned workstation and at home using their KU Online ID and password.
- Go to the Adobe Creative Cloud website
- Click on "Sign In"
- Click on Sign in with an Enterprise ID
- Enter KU email address (no need to enter password) and click blue "Sign In with an Enterprise ID" button
- Click on Enterprise ID Company or school account
- Enter KU Online ID and password on KU Single Sign-on page
- Click on Download Apps
- Click "Download" buttons for Creative Cloud and desired programs
Please Note: Under the KU licensing agreement with Adobe, faculty and staff can install Creative Cloud on a maximum of two devices.
