Technology Workshops at KU

Overview

Technology workshops are offered through-out the year at no cost to KU faculty, staff, and students. They are synchronous online courses taught by Technology Instruction & Engagement staff and cover many KU services and software including KU Sunflower CMS, Adobe Creative Cloud Suite, and Microsoft Office 365 programs. 

Register for Workshops

  1. Browse to the Catalog.
  2. Log in using your KU credentials if prompted.
  3. Click on a listed workshop offering.
  4. Select Enroll.

  5. Select Enroll in Course.

    Select Return to Catalog to browse for and register for additional classes, Go To Course to view the course content in Canvas, or close the window.

View Registered Workshops and Content

Through Catalog:

  1. Browse to Catalog.
  2. Log in using your KU credentials if prompted.
  3. Select your name from the upper right-hand corner.
  4. Choose My Courses (this will direct you to your Canvas Dashboard).
  5. Select the course tile.

Through Canvas:

  1. Browse to Canvas.
  2. Log in using your KU credentials if prompted.
  3. From the Dashboard, select the course tile.

If you need help unregistering for a course, please contact training@ku.edu.

Unregister for Workshops

  1. Browse to Catalog.
  2. Log in using your KU credentials if prompted.
  3. Select yourname from the upper right-hand corner.
  4. Select Student Dashboard.
  5. Select Go To Course next to the course you want to remove your registration from.
  6. Choose Drop this Course from the right-hand menu.
  7. Choose Drop this Course to confirm.
