KU IT provides wireless internet on campus via the Jayhawk and Guest networks. You should use the Jayhawk network as it provides the most secure connection and the fastest speeds. The first time you connect, you will need to authenticate with your KU Online ID and password.

If you intend to visit other universities or institutions, you may consider setting up eduroam before you leave the KU campus. Eduroam allows you to connect to other institutions Wi-Fi using your KU credentials and allows guests to connect to KU Wi-Fi using their own institution’s credentials. Any campus visitors can connect to the Guest network.
